Luchagors

The only thing that has more energy than the Luchagors on stage is a nuclear bomb. The punk quartet from Atlanta delivered a set that was tight throughout, creating a sound that was clean and polished while still delivering a healthy punch to the face. Front woman Amy Dumas’ time as a WWE Diva has paid off; her performance is the best mixture of sexy, powerful, sweet, and funny all fueled with a fearlessness that can come only from experience.

Where most bands embarrass themselves by making failed attempts to prod unwilling crowds into lame audience participation, Amy’s charisma got the crowd pumping their fists during “March of the Luchagors,” an anthem about their fans. Whether the singer/songwriter was jumping on the drum platform, running through the crowds, or extending her middle finger, she was nonstop vigor the whole way through.
