Magazine X recently sat down and spoke with Sam Loeffler, drummer for Chevelle. We discussed their music, playing in Paris and Count Chocula cereal. They will be in the RGV soon, so make sure you come out and support these guys. On to the interview!

Thanks for taking the time out to this interview with us. Are you doing a lot of interviews today or is it a day off?
(Laughter) No actually I’ll do another one as soon as we are done, Chevelle is doing interviews all day, sometimes 14-20 a day…

How do you feel about this new album? Was the Las Vegas experience helpful?
(Editor’s note: Chevelle recorded their last album Vena Sera in Las Vegas)
It was totally helpful doing the CD in Vegas, it gave us a good work environment. It made us want to do a great album.
We had good work ethic, we did the album and just being there just added to the fun.
