Ram Danesse – Sights of Sound

It’s great to see local musicians putting out quality, professional sounding CD’s. I got a preview copy of the upcoming RAM DANESSE debut record titled SIGHTS OF SOUNDS (Out Feb 12th) and jammed it for a week straight and was a welcome & refreshing change from the usual noise that is blaring out of my CD player.Their bluesy-rock sound brings to mind John Mayer and on occasion Donavon Frankenreiter but with a rock edge. Ram (Guitarist & Vocals) sings about love, acceptance, and the difficulties of being in a relationships, something most of us can relate to. Joe Bluesy (Lead Guitar) is easily one of the great guitarists South Texas has to offer. There is so much expression & feeling in every lick, every solo, that draws you deeper into the world Ram paints with his lyrics. Buy this CD, whether it’s the ballads or the rocking songs,  you will sing along and know the words from the first listen.
If you bought The latest Jason Mraz CD, return it and get this one instead. He was just OWNED by some Valley boys!
